a = [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
b = [6, 7, 8, 9, 10]

b = a[2:] + b
a = a[:2]

Now the contents of a and b respectively are a = [1, 2] and b = [3, 4,
5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10].
